The Shubb C1gr Western Capo in rose gold operates on an "over-center" locking principle. When clamping it onto the neck, you’ll feel it pass through a point of maximum resistance (the "center"), then ease slightly into its locked position.

We call the pressure difference between these points "dropoff":

• More dropoff = greater pressure difference between the center and locked position.

• Less dropoff = smaller pressure difference between the center and locked position.
