Unlike conventional boost pedals, the Dept. 10 Boost uses a genuine ECC83 (12AX7) valve operating at high voltage, delivering the feel and harmonic richness of additional tube gain stages.

Its Class A valve gain stage performs like adding two extra hot tube stages to your amplifier, providing enhanced sustain, harmonic complexity and natural overdrive while preserving your guitar's character. It is equally effective for pushing a valve amplifier into saturation, lifting solos or simply adding warmth and responsiveness to your tone.
